Here is my lovely cousin again at the USC Rose Gardens....on an insanely bright day I must add (there were no clouds in the sky). The gardens are so beautiful, I loved being surrounded by so many flowers. I basically dragged her out for a photoshoot because I got a new lens! (Canon 50mm f/1.4)
I've been wanting to go to Yosemite for a while because (1) I've heard that it's really beautiful, and (2) I love Ansel Adams and his photos from there. We went in April, but there was still snow on the ground and pretty chilly....it was spectacular! It makes you realize how beautiful and glorious nature really is. I would love to go back during the summer when I can go kayaking across the lakes and see the waterfalls in full force. Here are some pictures to share:
My cousin took me to the "Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens" the other day....it really was as relaxing as it sounds. It's an old mansion (think Great Gatsby) in the middle of hustle & bustle LA that was remodeled into a meditation center with a labyrinth and gardens....I was delightfully surprised to find how beautiful and calming it was. I had fun taking photos of this beautiful place, here are a few I thought I would share. :)
Christen and I decided to go on a mini road trip last weekend to Solvang (Danish town by Santa Barbara). Here are some pictures of the Santa Barbara coast and from the drive back down to LA. Of course I thought it was going to be cold and wore boots.....it ended being like 80 degrees haha.
